WalesOnline have reported that the exterior of the Batcave will be/has been filmed in Wales at the Brecon Beacons waterfall.
I witness said, “They were there for a couple of days just a few weeks ago. I understand it’s going to be used in the opening sequence of the film, as Batman discovers the Batcave.”
Seeing as Batman already knows where his Batcave is, that doesn’t make much sense so we’ll have to wait and see.

Fan-made concept art hints at what The Dark Knight Rises Batcave will be like. I think it looks pretty accurate. It’s realistic the way Nolan likes it (unlike the Tim Burton films where Batman nearly killed himself each time he parked the Batmobile at the top of this gapping precipice). Gone too are the Bat symbols plastered everywhere. After all, Bruce Wayne knows he’s Batman, he doesn’t need visual reminders. The only thing I really question is the glass case for his suit. What do you think?
This is fan-art at it’s best.
