The actress tells us she is only Miranda Tate, a “good guy” and “business woman”…
Please Marion, the only people you’re fooling are the ones that say stuff like, “OMG, JGL and Hardy!”. The fans see through your trickery. (as Bruce Wayne will toward the end of the film)

Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate (who is probably Talia al Ghul) and Josh Stewart as one of Bane’s (Tom Hardy) main men. Could he be Trogg, Zombie or Bird maybe- Bane’s Santa Prisca chums.

I’ve heard a rumour that not only was Miranda Tate (Marion Cotillard) standing on a Tumbler- hinting at her being Talia al Ghul, but John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) was too.
Can anyone confirm or debunk this?

SPOILERS:
Ok, looks like we know how Bane got his Tumblers. Marion Cotillard’s character, Miranda Tate (Wayne Enterprises) seems to be on the baddies side. Talia al Ghul?

Again we have a supposed plot leak- again from a “reliable source”. However, as shooting for The Dark Knight Rises draws closer the “rumours” seem to be converging and are supported by what we know. So, according to this “source”, this is the plot…
We start with a prison breakout, but it’s not Bane as you might expect- it’s none other than Batman! In the time since the events of The Dark Knight, he has been following a trail of dirty money- Alberto Falcone’s dirty money. This trail has led Batman to England, where he hatches a plan: Allow the English authorities to capture him- be extradited back to the States to be tried in Gotham, where Falcone is now running things- this will get him close enough to Falcone to take him down.
(The source says Joseph Gordon-Levitt IS Alberto Falcone)

This is where it goes a little odd- seems to contradict itself.
Batman knew that once in custody he would never make it back to the States alive- Falcone has been in hiding and does not fancy confronting him. Batman also knows that Falcone is in league with something much more sinister- the UK division of the League of Shadows.
So, the amazing opening action sequence we’ve been teased with? Batman’s mid-air escape- plane to plane. (Batwing?) Falcone and his thugs confront him aboard the extradition flight, but it all goes wrong and Falcone escapes. Batman is now trapped aboard the burning cargo plane with the last of the thugs and… Bane, who is later revealed to be working with Talia al Ghul and her League of Shadows.
Talia, like her late father, is out to destroy Gotham city. Even though Batman is responsible for her father’s death, she finds herself attracted to him and asks him to join her.
Bane is in love with Talia and angered by her attraction to the Dark Knight. He and Falcone hatch their own plans: Bane must kill Batman and assume his identity- but as the murderous vigilante the public think he is.
The only information that the source had about Selina Kyle was that Falcone destroys her life and she’s out for revenge.
I can’t make my mind up about this “leak”… It sounds plausible but there are some big holes. If Batman was captured, his identity would be revealed….? Why would Falcone confront Batman on the plane and how does he escape? How does Bane survive?
Sceptical mode activated - This could be an April Fools…

Yet again we find the internet awash with a “leaked” plot for the third and final film in Nolan’s Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises.
This one tells us that Catwoman will be teaming up with Batman towards the end of the film and that the pair will be taking on the League of Shadows, who have returned to Gotham lead by Talia al Ghul, (daughter of Ra’s) with Bane as her love interest and bodyguard.

It sounds like a feasible story and would bring the trilogy full circle. There is however one thing that makes me doubt it’s authenticity- The person from which this information has come only saw a “basic version” of the plot, yet stated that Joseph Gordon-Levitt would be playing a member of the League… a plot or script would not contain actors’ names- only characters… I’m staying sceptical.

Origins:
As a young girl Talia travelled the world with her father, Ra’s Al Ghul. Learning his intellect and skills, proving to be more competent than any of Ghul’s other children. She excelled at managing his criminal and legitimate operations. Eventually she was appointed as Ghul’s second in command- despite the fact that Ghul considered women to be inferior to men.
Antics:
(I found nothing of interest. There is surprisingly little information about her in my books and on the internet)
Possibilities for The Dark Knight Rises:
The leaked script tells us Talia will be after Bruce Wayne’s and or Batman’s blood, avenging her father. Talia however has been romantically involved with Batman and Bruce. Is there a possibility that she’ll be out to kill Bruce but attracted to Batman? Or maybe that she’ll be after Batman and find herself in love with Bruce? The latter would be a far more interesting prospect- maybe resulting in a moment where she has Batman trapped, at her mercy. Removing his mask she’d find Bruce- interesting. Maybe become a much needed ally- especially if Gordon’s compromised. Her affiliation is also a question- will she be working through the mob, through the corrupted Gotham infrastructure and police force or will she simply be a rogue. Time will tell.
